Welcome to signotive! Follow these simple steps to streamline your document signing process using our integration with monday.com.

Effortless Document Signing with Signotive: A Comprehensive Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1 : Install signotive

Access monday.com Marketplace

Navigate to the monday.com’s marketplace within your workspace.

Search for signotive

Use the search bar to find “signotive” and click on the app

3.

Install signotive app

Click the install button to add signotive  to your monday.com workspace

Step 2 : Prepare Your PDF Document

Upload your document

Option1: You can utilize an existing PDF document that requires signatures.

Option2: Generate document with docotive. Use docotive to generate document

We’ve used an NDA document as an example to illustrate the signing process. The Non-Disclosure Agreement is sent for signatures to the Disclosing Party and the Receiving Party via signotive.

We opted for option 2 i.e. generate document by docotive app on monday.com

Step 3 : Configure signotive Settings

Set Up Columns

From your monday.com board, identify the column names for the individuals from whom you will request signatures. For instance, in NDA you have columns labeled “Disclosing Party” and “Receiving Party.”

Enter these columns names in the signotive’s settings

Specify Document Storage:

Define the location where you want the signed document to be stored once all signatures are collected.

Let’s create a file column named “Signed NDA” in the signotive’s board  and mention the same into signotive’s app settings

Track Signing Status

Define the location where you want the signed document to be stored once all signatures are collected.

Add the “Send for Signature” Button

Include a “Send for Signature” button on your signotive’s board. This button triggers signotive to start the document signing process

Step 4 : Integrate signotive

Access Integrations

Go to Integrate on the top right 

Search for signotive

Select the signotive-Integration template

Click Use template button

Select Action

Choose the required action for signotive integration to ensure that the app is set up to handle document signing tasks

Step 5 : Send Document for Signature

1.

Initiate Signing Process

Click the “Send for Signature” button on your signotive’s board

Go to Documents in the signotive app. The document will be ready for you to assign signature fields.

Click the document name

Note : “monday.com has some API throttling limits for concurrent requests made from the same board. So it is advised to the users not to trigger more than 100 requests through the board integration at a time.”

Configure the Document

Clicking the document name, You will be asked to enter the recipients details. 

In this NDA scenariao – we enter details of Disclosing Party and Receiving Party. 

By default the signotive app will pick the Email from the board.

Drag and drop signature, initials, and other placeholders onto the PDF where required.

Send the Document

Click “Send” on the top right to dispatch the document to the recipients for their signatures

Step 6 : Recipients sign the Document

Receive the Document

Recipients will receive an email with a passcode to access the document

signotive provides flexibility in customizing your email templates.

Go to signotive’s Settings and select Email Settings from the left menu

Select Custom Email Template from the dropdown. In this case it is Send pdf to sign template

Enable Use Custom “Send pdf to sign template” and type your own email

In the same way you can have your own Custom Email ID and also can customize sender name in the email address

Sign the Documnet

Once recipient opens the document to Review and Sign

He will be asked to select the Signature Style

signotive offer a selection of pre-designed fonts and styles for typed signatures, allowing signers to choose a style that reflects their preference

signotive also offers signer to manually draws their signature

Once signer finalizes the signature style, click on Start Signing to start the signature on document

Clicking the “Sign” highlighted field it will put signer’s adopted signatures

Submit the Signed Document

When signer will sign all the highlighted fields, he will Click Submit button on the top right of the document to submit the signed document

Track Document Status

Signer can view the complete history of the document by going into signotive’s Document and clicking on the Action next to the document name on right side.

He can track down his document on recent activities. pending signature and document status

Google Drive Integration

You can easily save the signed document to your Google Drive through our built-in integration with Google Drive.

Go to signotive’s Settings and select Google Drive from the left menu. Enter the required folder name
